Quinta do Beijo Red Harvest 2019

Quinta do Beijo Red Harvest 2019

Quinta do Beijo Red Harvest 2019

Coming from the three typical three T's of the Douro, Quinta do Beijo Colheita Tinto 2019 is made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz (Temprenillo) grape varieties.

The vines are young, around 20 years old, and are planted at altitudes between 300 and 600 meters high.

2019, in particular, was a very dry year and, as a result, the concentration of sugars in the grapes was higher, which resulted in a wine with 14% alcohol.

Fermentation takes place with the presence of the skins to give it more color and aromas of the grape varieties themselves, and finally it ages in stainless steel vats.

The nose shows notes of ripe red fruit. On the palate it's a balanced wine, young and fresh, with fruity flavors and a long finish.
